Tiger Nageswara Rao Review - We have seen many period movies and biopics, but this is the first time a period movie is a biopic. In 1980, a thief named Tiger Nageswara Rao gave a tip to the police. But it takes a lot of guts to blend the character of a thief, inspired by his life events, into a commercial format.
The movie starts with an exciting episode, we immediately get into the story, but the story is interesting, and engaging, the mood of the movie, and the color tone, all make you glued to the seat. But the biggest minus of the movie is the running time, no matter how good the movie is, it is difficult to sit through three hours.
If you skip the love track in the first half, every scene feels interesting and engaging. The second part is interesting but slows down in the middle and picks up speed again in the pre-climax. Watching Ravi Teja in this character is a feast for the eyes, not just for Ravi Teja fans, but for movie lovers.
Ravi Teja's performance needs no special mention, whatever role he plays, he does it admirably. It is rare to see Ravi Tejani in serious roles, but this Nageswara Rao character has many shades except for one comedy. Ravi Teja's makeup could be better in some scenes.
As for Nupur Sanon, the role is short, but it doesn't matter, Gayatri Bharadwaj's role has a good scope, and she does justice to the role. And Anupam Kher's dubbing is not that impressive, but he impresses with his performance. Renudesai, Nasser, Muralisharma, and Jishusengupta have done justice to their roles.
To handle such a big movie requires a very experienced director, but Vamsi, who has less experience, handled this movie very well. Although some cinematic liberties are taken commercially, it is a big task to please the audience. And he succeeded in that matter.
Technically, Tiger Nageswara Rao is good, but in some scenes, V. F. X is poor the major highlight of this movie is the cinematography, the close-up of the locations, color tone, and mood have taken the movie to another level. And G.V. Prakash Kumar's two songs are okay, background music is also good but should have been better.
Finally, Tiger Nageshwar Rao movie will be liked by all sections of audience.
