Marvel Studios has decided to introduce the Werewolves into the Marvel Cinematic Universe through a Halloween special that will premiere on Disney + and will begin filming sometime in 2022.
As reported by The Wrap, the studio is looking for a Latino actor in his thirties to star in this Halloween special. The first Werewolf was introduced to the comics in 1972, Jack Russell, who comes from a long lineage cursed by lycanthropy. Still, he remains fully aware of most of his transformations, thus controlling his werewolf body and fighting off villains.
With the introduction of multiverses and new superheroes in Phase 4 of the Marel Cinematic Universe, the company has decided to go beyond superheroes. In Scarlet Witch and Vision the witches were introduced. In Loki, the existence of vampires was confirmed, thus connecting with the Blade movie starring Mahershala Ali. But also in Moon Knight the curses and mummies of Ancient Egypt will be introduced.
Another of the specials that Disney + is preparing is a Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special that is in pre-production, directed by James Gunn and that will be released at the end of 2022. While Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will arrive sometime moment of 2023.
Following the end of Loki, Disney + has recently released its first Marvel animated series entitled What if ...? where that same question is asked in each episode, thus constructing alternative realities of events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe already known, but with changes in them due to a simple fact.
But remember that the next film to be released in theaters, after Black Widow, will be Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, starring Dave Callaham and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Its premiere will be on September 3. We leave you above these lines with its official trailer.
